Zion White Bison Glamping and RV Resort – A Unique Stay

This is MY kind of glamping: private bathrooms in each tent, cliff dwelling, and covered wagon, and animals! Namely white bison.

Zion White Bison Glamping Resort is just outside of Zion National Park, and has stunning views of red rock hills that surround the whole Virgin River valley.

LOCATION: 400 W SR 9, VIRGIN, UTAH 84779. This is 15 miles south of Zion National Park, 27 miles from St. George, UT.

LODGING: They have luxury teepees, cliff dwellings, covered wagons, each with TVs, central heating and A/C, and their own bathrooms and fire pits. There are also paved RV sites that can fit big rigs. And get this, all cliff dwellings and luxury teepees have hot tubs. There are 4 wagons that have hot tubs as well.

RESORT AMENITIES: Shuttle bus to Zion, pickle ball court, basketball court, lawn games, movie nights, e-bike rentals, and a pool coming soon. And of course, as the name gives a hint to, there are white bison! They have several white and regular brown bison, and occasionally they have cute little calves. They are in fenced in areas, and you can go up near the fence for a closer look. They are massive!

PETS: Certain pets are allowed in a handful of the dwellings.

COST: $209-549

Although we live in an RV, we were in the area without it. So we stayed in one of the Cliff Dwellings. It was so spacious and felt luxurious. We spent most of our time on the roof, which had a hot tub, grill, and a nice big table for dining, playing cards, or just sipping on drinks while taking in the surrounding red hills. What a view, especially at sunset!! I wish we could’ve spent more than one night, because the resort has so much to offer. I think we’ll be back one day with our RV!
