Grand Canyon West – Skywalk at Eagle Point

Is it worthwhile making the drive to visit this off-the-beaten path scenic outlook? Absolutely! It’s a bit of a drive, but certainly worthwhile. It is a breathtaking engineering marvel that offers visitors a unique and thrilling way to experience the grandeur of the Grand Canyon. It is a see-through 10-ft wide walk that gives you views 4000ft to the bottom of the canyon and the Colorado River!

To get to the Skywalk at Grand Canyon West on the Hualapai Reservation you can drive from Las Vegas, NV (2.5 hrs), or Flagstaff, AZ (2.5 hrs), or Phoenix, AZ (3.5 hrs). As you get closer to the Skywalk you will see more Joshua Trees than you would within the Joshua Tree National Park.

The entrance fee includes hop on/hop off shuttle service between the Skywalk at Eagle Point and 2 other locations with additional viewpoints. Guano Point has the best 360° view, so don’t miss that. Hualapai Point has a little western town and zip lining.
