17 Things To Do In Gulf Shores AL On A Rainy Day

Sure, when you book a vacation to Gulf Shores you hope for great weather. You envision lots of beach and pool time. I get it. But sometimes Mother Nature has other plans and it rains. Luckily the rain can go away as fast as it arrived, which is common in coastal areas. But for those days when the rain doesn’t let up, here is a list of things to keep your loved ones busy and entertained.
- Go bowling at Gulf Bowl in Foley
- Have fun at The Factory, which has rock climbing, batting cages, arcade, and trampolines
- Take the Bushwacker Tour with Surfside Shuttle
- Catch a movie at Cobb Movie Theater
- Play games at the arcade at The Track
- Make a blown-glass art piece or throw pottery at the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach (call for reservation)
- Play a round of miniature golf at Jurassic Golf, a blacklight mini golf course
- Hang out at Big Beach Brewing, and listen to some live music (it’s kid-friendly, I promise!)
- Visit the Conde Charlotte Museum, site of first jail, in Mobile
- Take an art class at the Foley Art Center
- Splash and swim at Tropic Falls Indoor Water Park at OWA
